Voting Results:

Cornerstone came in first with the majority of votes. Followed by Faith and then St. Pauls. So, until we do this again, Cornerstone Church will be the location the guild meets.

Guild Info:

Capitol City Quilt Guild (CCQG) was organized in March, 1984, to encourage fellowship, cooperation, and learning among area quilters and to promote public appreciation for creativity and high standards for quilting.  CCQG is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization giving to the community education, charity quilts as fund-raisers for Habitat for Humanity and hosting quilt shows to spread the art of quilting.  The Guild members make and donate quilts for Haven House, Ronald McDonald House, Christmas stocking shut-ins, chronically and critically ill children in area hospitals, as well as provide free education seminars for the public on the art of quilting.

CCQG meetings are held every third Thursday of the month at Cornerstone Church, located at 3654 Okemos Road, Okemos, MI. Social hour begins at 6:45 PM and meetings start at 7:15 PM.  Membership is open to anyone interested in quilting.  The yearly dues are $25.00, which are due in April.  Guests are charged a fee when attending meetings that feature a guest speaker.  Name tags are required and are available at the door for twenty-five cents.
