Raffle Quilt - Star Struck
The winner isn't Cathy Phillips like it said in the newsletter. Yikes! She actually won the Board House quilt top. So who won the raffle quilt? Sandy Peiss from Oak Park, Michigan. Congratulations !! Thank you to all who purchased tickets.
Tickets were sold by guild members. Drawing for the quilt was on September 17, 2009. A picture of the top and the finished quil is shown below. Click on photo to see larger image.
Thanks goes to the 74 Guild members who made blocks and helped assemble the top. The quilt measures 86" x 108" and is made from 20 different 100% cotton batiks. The pattern is by Judy Martin. Special thanks to Coreen Strzalka for the beautiful machine quilting job.
